The idea of a Geodesic Dome came up during one of the CRY-Gen camps in 2019. The design and production processes developed when making a model at the METU Industrial Design workshop. In the third stage, architecture students were involved. The costing of materials was too high so the design was revised to something within our budget that we could assemble ourselves, from pipes made at OSTİM industrial estate. The final stage was the assembly in Güneşköy, March 7, 2021.
