In 2007, 1st year students of Architecture at METU spent their summer internship project constructing the Health Clinic at Hisarköy, 3km from Güneşköy.
Dean of METU Architecture Faculty, Selahattin Önür, discussed with village head, Mehmet Çetin, which building would be most useful and agreed on the final choice of a medical centre. METU Architecture Department instructors prepared plans and on 15 July 2007, building work started. In one month two teams of 50 people each, mainly summer internship students, completed the building. The materials were provided by the sub-district of yahşihan, and students' needs were met by the project.
