    My last night before summer turns to autumn. Observing, watching, listening, wondering...

    Sunday the team arrived early to work on the first batch of pickles, and then threading meters of pepers for drying.

    Preparing an Erasmus Project

    Only a few days left before we submit our Erasmus project: İbrahim tested his new tent on the coldest night in a long time.  In the glasshouse, seedlings need watering daily.  The chickens are laying more eggs, and our ducks move to their new home.&

    Opening up a path

    Being on the land in the winter is quiet:  next year will be quieter when the rail viaduct construction is complete.  

    While others were preparing the land, I cleared more of a path between the overgrown Jerusalem thorns.
