Duygu and I have been planning to start shooting her film, which might record the sum of Güneşköy's first 22 years when the future is uncertain. Elif joined us the day before starting her 13th year. 

In 2019 one of the UNDP project participants became so connected with nature, he has now developed his first EU sponsored small project. This weekend a small group gathered for a camp to talk of possible ways forwards

before the Yine Yeni Yeniden Bostan project event at Güneşköy, four of us came fora fittle cleaning and maintenance.  I've never seen so many spider webs.  We must have swept up kilometers of silk!

During the month of Ramadan, Duygu and I spent another 24 hours at Güneşköy, and Çiftlik: better weather, after a too warm "winter" period. Seasonal flowers haven't appeared. Why? And many more questions...

Since my last visit, the perimeter fence has been renewed, after 20 years.  Amazing work, well done Ali Gökmen.   Dull grey and damp British like weather, but still warm enough for some insects... 

September is a busy month! The UNDP SGP fair, two solid days at the Çiftlik farm, then a day visit with friends in the Active Güneşköy group.  

We'd escaped from Ankara, sweltering in temperatures nearing 40C, to see what has been happening in the last three months.

This sunny May morning, a dozen students from TED University came to discover Güneşköy.  Meanwhile, another Doğuş excavator was digging water channels for trees to be planted under the viaduct. And a train from Sivas quietly passed overhead. 

Two days after a partial eclipse, the setting new moon again reminds me of our transient place in the universe.  

Well over a year since he returned from Spain, Mert had to come before goat number dropped. So many other events too...
